Mr. Dupree joined the Houston office in 2014 as a Senior Associate. His practice encompasses a wide variety of litigation matters with an emphasis on complex employment litigation. Mr. Dupree has litigated employment cases against some of the largest companies in the world including many in the energy sector. He has been lead counsel in jury trials and administrative hearings under several employment law statutes including discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Texas Labor Code. He has been a trailblazer for the interpretation of the anti-whistleblower retaliation provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Mr. Dupree received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Florida State University. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court (Southern District of Texas), the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and all Texas state courts. Mr. Dupree has been a leader in the Houston legal community serving on the boards of the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County. For several years prior to joining Kennard Law, P.C., Ron was a member of the management team at a large real estate investment trust.
